Lois D. Bardon passed away peacefully on April 26, 2023 in Exton, Pa. having recently celebrated her 100th birthday, surrounded with love from family members and devoted caregivers. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Lois grew up and raised her family in Delaware County, and lived in Chester County in later years. She was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Newtown Square, Pa. and attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Exton.
Lois was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family, celebrating all the milestones of growing children and attending their events whenever possible. Summers at the Jersey shore were special times, continuing to this day into the 4th generation. She enjoyed music, art, flowers, travels with friends, visits to her daughter, Constance, in New Orleans, and visits from family pets. Lois was a fun loving, genuine, generous person to all who knew her. Her friendship was treasured by her co-workers at Delaware County Community College, several of whom continued to stay in touch with her after her retirement.
Lois is survived by her loving children: Joseph Bardon (Carol), Nancy Elmer, Constance Bardon (Cathy); her grandchildren: Laurie Syphard (Eric), Andy Bardon (Julia), Brad Bardon (Allison), Elyse Elmer (Simon), Chloe Geiger (Zach); and her great grandchildren: Adelaide, Imogen, Cole, and Annabelle.
Lois’ family will have a private ceremony in her honor. Those wishing to offer a contribution in her memory may donate to:
