It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of our beloved mother Lillian Lassial (née Mazur).  Mom passed away peacefully on December 27, of advanced Alzheimer’s disease. She was 98 years old, one month short of her 99 year old birthday.

Lillian was born 1/23/27 in Chester Hospital. Her parents were William and Helen Mazur. She went to Eddystone High School and Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She worked in a doctor’s office for 45 years as office nurse and manager. She was an avid bridge player, tennis player, and bowler. She did volunteer work at Broomall Nursing Home and Havertown Senior Center. She leaves behind two children, Dee Zduniak and Donna Melligan; three grandchildren, Joseph Deamer, Brenda Deamer, and Desi Zduniak-Hooper; and four great grandchildren, Haley Deamer, Scott Deamer, Taylor Deamer, and Aubrey Deamer.

Visitation & services will be held on Thursday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Comforter, 1000 Burmont Rd., Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment will follow at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, luncheon afterward at Pepper’s by Amedeo’s.
