Kelly Lynn Boyd, a beloved mother, sister, and daughter, passed away on August 30, 2023, in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. Born on December 5, 1966, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Kelly was intelligent, passionate, and analytical. She was the cherished daughter of the late Audrey Mardell Gindlesperger and William Joseph Boyd Sr., and sister to Tracy Boyd and William Joseph Boyd Jr.
Kelly had a thirst for knowledge, a trait that was evident early in her life. She pursued Political Science and Government at American University in DC, where her dedication and academic prowess were recognized with a Masters in Government Administration. Her commitment to her studies led her to receive an academic scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania. Determined to contribute to the field of law, she further pursued her Doctor of Law - JD, Law at Temple University - James E. Beasley.
In her professional life, Kelly was an embodiment of strategic thinking and leadership. For 27 years, she was the proud owner of KB Consultants, a strategic brand marketing and communications firm. Her analytical mindset led her to create successful strategies that propelled her firm to great heights.
Although she was a successful businesswoman, Kelly always found time for her interests. She loved playing tennis and swimming in her father's pool, activities that allowed her to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. Her love for adventure was evident in her frequent travels, where she immersed herself in different cultures and experiences. However, the joy she found in these activities was surpassed by the time she spent with her daughters. Kelly was the loving mother of Claire Frances Sylvester, Grace Patricia Sylvester, and Frances Rose Sylvester. She cherished every moment with them, and her love for her daughters was a testament to her nurturing and caring nature.
In remembering Kelly, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, strength, and dedication to family. She was a loving mother, a caring sister, and an individual who made a significant impact on everyone she met. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the importance of living life to the fullest. Kelly Lynn Boyd's legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those she left behind.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Kelly’s honor.
