Kathy T Petrie Fallon
On Thursday, February 5th, Kathy Petrie Fallon, 78, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Feasterville, PA. Born June 3rd, 1947, daughter of the late Thomas and Kathryn Petrie. Kathy was raised in the Schuylkill area of Philadelphia with her sister, the late Nancy Petrie Finn. She was a proud graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School.
Kathy was a medical administrator for Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, for many years. Kathy married her devoted and beloved husband, John Fallon, in 1971, and together they shared 54 years of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Kathy is survived by her husband, John Fallon, several nieces, cousins, and a nephew.
Kathy was a champion national dog owner/ handler, especially proud of her achievements with her beloved Lhasa Apsos. She was a member of the ALAC, the Delaware Valley Chinese Crested Dog Club (DVCC), and the Hatboro Dog Club. Kathy won over 40 championships across the country. She also showed Maltese and Chinese Crested breeds, earning deep respect in the dog show community. An animal rights activist, she devoted her life to the care and advocacy of animals.
An eclectic soul who loved to travel and loved her long river adventures with her husband, John. Kathy will be remembered for her warmth, humor, strength, and fashion. She was carefree yet traditional, funny and sharp-witted, stubborn and full of fire — yet also soft, sentimental, and deeply kind. She loved fiercely, lived authentically, and left people better for having known her.
A memorial service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10 -11 am at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA. A private interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon Pa. There will be a life celebration for Kathy in June 2026.
