Kathryn Lois Jarvis

 Kathryn Lois Jarvis, was born to William and Kathryn Stephenson on July 23, 1934. She passed on November 28, 2022 in Phoenixville Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Yeadon High School.

She is predeceased by her husband, J. Kenneth Jarvis, her sister Dorothy Elizabeth Fraidenburgh and her brother William Stephenson. She is survived by her Niece, Kristin Fraidenburgh and her nephew Carl Douglas Fraidenburgh.

 Lois was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, where she received the highest award in Art, she attended the Moore College of Art studying fashion design.

   Lois moved to Avalon, New Jersey where a strong interest developed in the shore environment. Her paintings in oil and acrylics reflected her sensitivity for the wetlands and shore wildlife.

   During this time, her paintings became recognized and she exhibited in many southern New Jersey art shows.

   Lois then resided in  Hershey's Mill Chester County, working from her studio at home where she has developed her style using watercolors.

   Her paintings are included in many private collections throughout this country, Canada, and the Far East, and are found in many corporations.

   Lois has received many awards. She is a member of the Philadelphia Water Color Club, the Wayne Art Center, and the Chester County Art Association.
