Kathleen M. (nee O’Hanlon) Wilson, of Drexel Hill, passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 67. Daughter of the late Francis and Mary (nee McGee) O’Hanlon. Graduate of Haverford High School and Philadelphia General College as an X-ray technologist.
Loving mother of Lucas (Julia) Wilson and Nicolette (Patrick) Slattery. “ZZ” to grandchildren Dylan Wilson, Savannah, and Jack Slattery. Sister of Mary Ellen Kearney, Joan Cannon, Meg O’Hanlon, Jim O’Hanlon and Fran O’Hanlon. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kathy began her career as an X-ray and mammography technologist and lastly as an MRI technologist. Kathy loved her work and always treated her patients with enthusiasm and a smile. Kathy’s career was heavily involved with breast cancer, so when she was diagnosed she decided to “put her dukes up” and show breast cancer who was boss. After a long, courageous, six-year battle, Kathy passed peacefully surrounded by the ones who meant most to her. She was truly one-of-a-kind and everyone’s favorite person to share time with.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass Thursday, January 7th, 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Burmont Rd. & Dennison Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM Thursday prior to mass at the church.
