Obituary

Kathleen Theresa (nee Salema) Fife, of Glenolden, PA and later as a resident of Plush Mills Senior Living in Wallingford, PA passed away September 19, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia on February 21, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Madeline (nee Gannone) Salema. She graduated Lincoln High School in 1955 and went on to a career at PECO as a Customer Service Representative retiring after 25 years of service. Following retirement, she returned to work at Rosemont College as an Administrative Assistant and Elderhostel coordinator. She was an avid reader of detective novels and loved unraveling a mystery. She enjoyed travel with family and friends and filled vacations with love and laughter. She lived her Catholic life through example serving her community and church.  She was a devoted wife to the late William J. Fife, Sr., mother to her three loving children Madalyn Egan (John), William Fife, Jr (Christine) and Kimberly Bombeck, and “Mom Mom” to her four grandchildren, Colleen Fife, Erin Fife, Liam Egan and Madison Fife

She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Edgeworth (David) of Boise, ID.

A visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11am at Logan Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. Prayer service will be at 11am in the funeral home on Saturday. Kathleen will be laid to rest in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
