Kathleen Ann Moser, known to all as Kathy, hath departed this mortal coil on the fourteenth day of August in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-three, succumbing to the relentless grasp of cancer. Born on the twentieth day of December in the year nineteen hundred and fifty-two in Norristown, Pennsylvania, she was a beacon of light that shone brightly in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Kathy was blessed with a loving family who were her steadfast companions on life's journey. Her life partner, Sara Feinberg, stood by her side, their shared love and commitment a testament to the power of the human heart. She also leaves behind her siblings, Nancy Martin, Susan Haines, Diane Zarzano, Gene Kelly, and their families. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Kelly, her father, Charles Moser, her brother, Charles Moser, and her stepfather, Eugene Kelly. Their love and guidance shaped Kathy into the woman she became, their memory a comfort in times of sorrow.
In the summer of her youth, Kathy was a proud graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh class of 1970, where she cultivated her mind and spirit. Her dedication to learning did not cease with the end of her formal education, but continued throughout her life, feeding her insatiable curiosity and passion for knowledge.
Kathy served many a year at Hausser Scientific in Horsham, Pennsylvania, her diligence and commitment evident in her work. She was not merely a cog in the machine, but a vital part of the fabric that held the company together, her contributions invaluable and her presence irreplaceable.
In the theatre of life, Kathy found joy in the simplest of pleasures. She found delight in the company of her beloved cats and her cherished turtle, their companionship bringing her much solace and comfort. She enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels, her heart soft for the creatures that shared her world. Her favorite chipmunk, affectionately named 'Chippie,' held a special place in her heart. Kathy also found enjoyment in the thrill of the casino and the race track, the excitement of the game a source of entertainment for her.
To describe Kathy merely as friendly, courageous, and spirited would be an understatement. She was a woman of great warmth, her friendly nature making her a joy to be around. She was courageous, facing life's trials with a brave heart and a resilient spirit. She was spirited, her zest for life infectious and her energy boundless. She lived her life with a fervor that was truly inspiring, her spirit leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched.
In the words of the Bard himself, "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players." Kathy played her part with grace and dignity, her life a testament to the strength of the human spirit. She may have exited the stage, but her memory remains, a beacon of light that continues to shine in the hearts of those who loved her. Farewell, dear Kathy. Though you are no longer with us, you will forever remain in our hearts.
