Josephine A. (Gentile) Walker

Josephine A. Walker (Gentile) of Havertown, PA passed away peacefully on November 19th, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia on April 8, 1935. Josephine is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Bentley C. Walker. Her daughters Lisa (Paul) Matthews, Karen Shields, Debbie (Joe) DeBenedictis, and her son Bill Walker. Her 8 grandchildren Ryan (Chelsea), Courtney (Jeff), Leah (Bill), Cody (Kim), Jordan, Anna, Sara, and Isaac. Her great-grandchildren Jeffrey and Ruby. Also her brother Carmen (Susan) Gentile and one niece and two nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Catherine (John) Evans and Daughter-in-Law Kristin Sanner Walker.

Devoted to her family, she never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or special milestone. She loved time spent at the family cabin and loved the New Years’ Day Mummers Parade. Many happy memories were also enjoyed in North Wildwood, NJ such as mini golf with her grandchildren and days spent at the beach.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 9:30am-10:30am, Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, in Manoa, 105 Wilson Ave. Havertown, PA 19083 ffollowed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30am.  Burial at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
