Joseph Thomas Toerner

Joseph Thomas Toerner, of Collingdale, formerly of Grays Ferry, passed away on March 14, 2026 at the age of 72.  Husband of the late Anna J. Toerner. Loving father of Anna Murray, Edwin Muniz, Joseph Muniz, Danielle Toerner, Jacquelyn Toerner and Scott Toerner.  Also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Brother of Barbara, Patricia, Mary, and Timothy.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Your strength and kindness taught us how to navigate life’s challenges. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the beautiful life you lived. Until we meet again, we carry you in our hearts. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11:00 am, where friends may call from 10:00 AM to 10:45 am prior to Mass.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions go toward Joseph's Funeral Expenses, payable to the Wm. H. Logan Funeral Home, 2901 Wilder St., Philadelphia, Pa 19146.
