Jose Orozco Obituary

Jose M Orozco, 86, of West Chester, PA passed away on May 20, 2022 after a long illness. This loss leaves family and friends deeply saddened. He will be truly missed in so many ways.

Jose was born in 1935 to the late Angel and Rosario Orozco in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico.  Jose grew up with his parents, grandparents (maternal), 4 sisters and 2 brothers with a strong work ethic that he carried with him throughout his life.  After attending school till the 6th grade, he started to work at a young age to help his family.

As the years went on, he came across a new passion, Alicia. During 1958, Jose met Alicia and went on to marriage in 1960 followed by 5 children, Francisco, Mario, Maria, Jose Marcelino and Jose Maria, Jr. Jose migrated to California in 1972 with his wife and children for a better life for his family.  Jose always put his family first and as a dedicated father he taught his kids to share the same love for family and friends. His love and enthusiasm for plants, cooking and hard work will also be carried on by his children and grandchildren.  Jose is survived by 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Jose had a gift of making everyone feel like family. He constantly made it a point to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. His Family and friends describe Jose as nothing but kind, loving, caring, warm, giving, and a gentle man. He will be missed more than words can say.

Jose will be laid to rest with his wife Alicia at Philadelphia Memorial Park located in Frazer, PA.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 24th at 10:30 am.  A reception will follow to celebrate his life and some of his favorite foods at the Denton-Orozco residence in Chester Springs, PA.
