Jonathan Peter Campbell

Campbell, Jonathan P. 

Age 39, of Coatesville, PA, formerly of Chester Springs, and Downingtown.  Beloved husband of Melissa Campbell (nee Montgomery-Wesley).  Son of Jack and the late Bonnie Campbell, brother of Jessica Campbell Troyano, and step-son of Lynn McGillin.  He will be missed by dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Taken from us suddenly at the peak of his life.  Jon’s impact on the world is his love for the people in it. He longed to see the world in harmony, reconciled and having fun together. 

Jon brought an abiding sense of kindness, fairness, and justice; he had an unstated honesty, a heart of compassion, and a ready, hilarious wit. 

He loved more than anything spending time with Melissa and their three dogs – Tater, Turtle and Moose.  A perfect weekend escape for Jon was a day at the dog park and sharing a laugh with his friends. 

Inquisitive by nature, he had to know everything about everything. 

In business, Jon was a master carpenter, general contractor and founder of Seamless Construction. No one worked harder than Jon, or took the time or energy to make sure his jobs were built right, and meant to last.  Not afraid of taking on big jobs by himself, he regularly moved enormous objects by hand.  His physical strength was astounding.

He was a natural leader, mastering the coordination of construction crews.

Jon loved his family, treasured his friends, and respected his coworkers.  He was there when you needed him to share your burden, and always tried to lighten everyone’s day in good times and bad. 

Friends and family are invited to attend his memorial services.  Visitation will be held Saturday, October 9th, 9:30 – 11 AM at Logan Funeral Home, 698 East Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA, followed by a memorial service starting at 11 AM.
