John Francis Mitchell III

John “John John” Mitchell, age 37, born in Philadelphia, PA, on St Patrick's Day, March 17, 1984 and passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

He was raised in South Philly  and Northeast Philly, beloved son of John (Patty) Mitchell and Darlene Davis. John graduated in 2003 from Central High School, where he was an athlete playing on their football team.

In both his work and daily life John John was dedicated to helping people and animals. He always put others first and was incredibly generous with everyone that was lucky enough to know him. He brightened the lives of so many people. He enjoyed working in the Restaurant business, was a devoted Eagles fan and loved history.

Preceded in death by his loving grandparents, John & Kathleen Mitchell and Janie and Robert Davis.

He is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters and will be sorely missed by his loving Aunts, Uncles and numerous cousins and especially his fur baby, Charles, who he rescued and spoiled.

Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at St. Gabriel's Church, 29th & Dickinson Streets, Philadelphia, PA  19146 where friends may call 9:30 - 11:00 AM.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
