John J. Logue, 73, of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on February 25, 2021. He was the beloved son of Andrew and Marie Logue, Sr. John was in the United States Army, 91st Engineers during the Vietnam War. After the Army John worked for Eastern Airlines for 21 years until he opened Logue’s Tavern located in Southwest Philadelphia. After selling his Tavern he worked for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals until his retirement. John will be remembered for his famous “one liners” that always made everyone laugh.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (nee Hubert), his loving children Lori Anne Storlazzi, Byron (Anita) Newby, Jason (Jennifer) Newby, Adam (Janet) Newby, and Eric (Kristi) Newby. He will be missed by his 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also the loving brother of Margaret (Bill) Gribbin and the late Andrew Logue.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 4th at St. Dorothy’s Church, 4910 Township Line Road (corner of Township Line and Burmont Roads), Drexel Hill, PA 19026 where friends may call 12:00 – 12:45 PM at the Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
