John M. Flood
Obituary
John M. Flood, of Northeast Phila., passed on November 18, 2022 at the age of 58. Prior to serving as a Firefighter for 28 years, he also served as a Philadelphia Police Officer for 4 years. Beloved son of the late George J. & Sally Ann (nee Cox) Flood. Loving husband of 29 years of Suzanne E. (nee Blythe) Flood. Loving father of Melissa Erin Flood. Loving brother of George (Karen) Flood and Susan (Raymond) Cost. Loving brother-in-law of Kim (Ed) Duca, Carolynn (Vern) Carter and Bill (Dina) Blythe. Also survived by his aunt Patricia Flood, his mother-in-law Elaine Blythe and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
John loved to travel and watch sports, especially the Buffalo Bills. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation 6-9:00 PM Tuesday evening, November 29th and 9-10:30 AM Wednesday, November 30th at Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19115 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. (Parking is behind the church off of Bustleton Ave.) Interment at a later date.
