John Elich Obituary

ELICH - John Elich.,October 15, 1924 - January 5, 2021, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, age 96, of Coatesville PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his children. He was the husband of the late Grace (Gartner) Elich and late Donalyn (Moore) Elich and is survived by a good friend, Erna S. Wilcox. He is also survived by his brother Daniel (Millie) Ilich.

He is remembered by his children (and their spouses) : Brenda (Tim) Lynch and Steven (Anne) Elich., and also by his grandchildren: Tom (Caroline), Karissa (Colin), Samantha, Joe (Katie), Jay (Colleen) and Dale. His great-grandchildren are Charlotte and Vivian.

John was born in New York City, NY and grow up in Metković Yugoslavia (Croatia). He returned to the USA in 1947 and served in the Army and then earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the City College of NY. He worked for Western Union and then cofounded Timeplex, Inc which he ran until retirement.

John will be interred in St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx NY.
