John R. Curran
Of Gray's Ferry, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at the age of 65. He was the loving husband of 15 years to Joanne “Josie” Curran, with whom he shared a remarkable 30 years together.
John was a devoted father to Danny Curran, Amie (Steve) Yoder, and John Sullivan, and a proud grandfather to his cherished granddaughter, Olivia. He was also a beloved brother to Ann (the late Steve) Paul, Kelly Lott, and the late Michael Curran.
He is survived by his uncle, Pop Pete Schweikert, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
A passionate fan of the Eagles and the Phillies, John enjoyed nothing more than a good game. His love for playing pool, shuffleboard, and English darts brought him many cherished moments with friends and family. An avid music lover, he was especially fond of the Eagles band and the timeless hits of Bob Seger.
John’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life and Luncheon will be held in his honor on March 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the St. John's Club, located at 1314 S. 36th St., Philadelphia, PA 19146
