John E. Bendon

John “Jack” Edward Bendon was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He passed away on September 21, 2021 at the age of 70.

He was born to Walter and Violet Bendon in Drexel Hill, PA on March 10, 1951.

Jack was a talented career software developer. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his dogs, hiking, geocaching, traveling, and attending food and music festivals with his family and friends. He was an avid and loyal Philadelphia sports fan from childhood.

He is survived by his mother Violet Bendon, brothers Robert and William Bendon, sister Gail Rizzo, nephews Joseph Hotchkiss and Gerald Rizzo, nieces Laura Kozikowski, Lisa Hotchkiss, Hillary Lobb, Meryl Miller, Melinda Borrell, Kathryn Longwill, Ariel Bendon, and Julia Bendon.

Jack was a regular attendee of the Saint Mary Magdalene Community and a loved member of their book club.
