Joan R. Rosney

Joan Rosney, 84, of Folsom, passed away on September, 18, 2022.

Joan was born on March 10, 1938 and was the daughter of Regina Somers (deceased) and stepdaughter to Richard Somers (deceased).  After graduating from Notre Dame High School in 1956, she worked as an Executive Secretary at Scott Paper and Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital.

Joan spent her time gardening, traveling to Cape May, spending time with friends and family, but mostly her dog Molly. Joan is mostly known for having such a kind heart.

Joan is survived by her many cousins, close friends, and godchildren .

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 22nd at Little Flower Manor, 1201 Springfield Road, Darby, PA  19023 followed by burial at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.  Due to COVID masks are required at Little Flower Manor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Little Flower Manor in Darby, PA or Providence Animal Center in Media, PA.
