Jean Mary Coakley

With sincere heartache and overwhelming sadness, we announce the passing of Jean Mary Coakley on March 25th, 2025. Jean, a loving wife, thoughtful mother, and proud grandmother, went peacefully surrounded by her family. Born November 6th, 1954, Jean, affectionately known as Big Jean, lived a storied life adding joy to those she met along the way. Jean was an avid reader, enjoyed playing word puzzles, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her fondness for cheesecake was only eclipsed by her love of sharing it with family during movie nights.  Jean was predeceased by her husband Robert A Kling and parents Jean and Bernard Coakley. She is survived by her children; Holly(Cory) Ladigoski, Matthew(Erin Martin)Scheidly, Scott (Erin Cataldi) Scheidly, and Robert Kling, and her grandchildren: Madelyn (CJ) Ladigoski, Teagan Ladigoski, Violet Kling, and Amelia Kling. The service will be held on Tuesday, April 1st, at Logan-Videon funeral home in Broomall. The family will begin receiving guests at 10:30 a.m. and the service will begin at 12:00 p.m.
