Janet Jancovic Obituary

Janet Eleanor (Lee) Jancovic, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on January 30, 2025, in West Chester, PA, at the age of 80. Born on April 29, 1944, in Hatboro, PA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Patrick and Carolyn A. (Sluka) Lee.

Janet was the cherished wife of the late Stephen Henry Jancovic, the loving mother to Kevin M. Jancovic, Stephen T. Jancovic, and Thomas P. Jancovic and his wife, Mandy and was the adoring grandmother to Eve and Eli.

She was a dear sister to Kathleen (Lee) DiPeso and her companion, Frank DiBella, and William Lee and his wife, Mary as well as an adored aunt and friend to many.

Janet spent her early life in Morton, PA and especially loved spending summers with her family at the beach in Lewes, Delaware. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. Shortly after she pursued a career as an Office Administrator until she retired in 2000.

Led and guided by spiritual principles and an inner strength, Janet was a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. Her approach to life was reflected in the loving way she cared for her family, friends, and community.

Janet's creative spirit shone brightly through her love of gardening, cooking and baking. She enjoyed canning the nourishing foods she grew, creatively decorating the cakes she baked and spending time in her garden growing vegetables, herbs and flowers.

Janet took pleasure in gathering with her family and friends, whether during holiday celebrations or a night around the card table. While quiet in nature, she had a sharp wit that would take you by surprise and leave you laughing. Her presence was a comforting and unifying force, and she will be remembered for the love and spirit of togetherness that she fostered.

Janet leaves behind a legacy of love and light. Her loving spirit was the foundation upon which her family was built, her creative talents brought joy and beauty to the world, and her dedication to her spiritual beliefs, provided a shining example of grace and compassion.

She is survived by her grateful family, who will continue to honor her memory by living out the values she instilled in them. Janet's unwavering love, her creative soul, and her extraordinary capacity to nurture and inspire will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
