Jane Marciniak Obituary

Jane (Janina Klosinski) Marciniak, 82, of West Chester, Pennsylvania died at home following a lengthy illness in the afternoon of Monday, May 8, 2023. Born in Rynsk, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Michal and Leokadia (Popko) Klosinski. Her husband, Stanley J. Marciniak, died in 1994.

She immigrated to Philadelphia in 1961 and later moved to Lancaster County where she was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of New Holland for 47 years. She spent the final years of her life with her son in West Chester.

She worked as a seamstress for most of her career and later retired as an office clerk. Although she had a strong work ethic, her greatest happiness and joy was found in her home and in the time spent with her family. She was a kind, gentle, caring and selfless woman who possessed an inner strength and determination, despite encountering several difficulties in her life. She always maintained a sense of gratitude for everything she had.

She is survived by a son, Stanley J. Marciniak, Jr. of West Chester.
