James "Jim" Robert Pollock, 70, of Sewell, NJ, passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on Thursday, March 9, 2023, with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Nancy Theresa (née Dota) Pollock.
Jim was born in Darby, PA on May 14, 1952, the only son of Dorothy (née Huss) Pollock Hey and the late James Pollock. He was a graduate of Haverford High School, Class of 1970. He graduated from Bloomsburg University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He was employed with Philadelphia Coca-Cola for 30 years as a District Sales Manager and then worked for Acura Turnersville for the remainder of his career until retirement.
Jim loved spending quality time at home with his family, spending time by his pool and family vacations. He loved music, whether listening to his albums or jukebox or playing music on one of his many guitars from his collection; Jim was always jammin’.
In addition to his wife, Nancy, Jim is survived by two children, son, James Robert Pollock, II. and his wife, Jaimie Lynne (née Burger) Pollock of Boyds, MD and daughter, Danielle Marie Pollock Abdill and her husband, Andrew Joseph Abdill, Sr. and their son (Jim's only grandson) Andrew Joseph Abdill, Jr.
Jim is also survived by his mother, Dorothy and three sisters, Karen (née Pollock) Columbo and her husband, Eugene Columbo, Jane (née Pollock) Geder and her husband, Gerald Geder and Dorothy (née Pollock) McKinney.
In addition to his father, James, Jim is predeceased by his sister, Deborah (née Pollock) Vice and his beloved furry best friend, Sophie.
In true Jim fashion, family and friends are welcome to celebrate his life on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. Family and friends will gather in the funeral home Saturday before services from 8 to 10am. Service will follow. Burial will be private.
