Dear Friends and Family,
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Henry Kim.
Henry Kim was a man of principle, integrity, and hard work. He stood firm in his values and remained true to himself in every aspect of his life. Reliable and steady, Henry could always be counted on, consistently placing the needs of his family and friends before his own. Henry understood what truly mattered. Relationships were never abstract ideas to him; they were lived commitments, shown through presence, loyalty, and care.
Henry enjoyed cooking and generously sharing his love for KBBQ and steaks with those he cared about, often doing so while passionately cheering—or venting—over the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He was happiest when fishing and found deep joy and peace in his annual trips to the beach.
Above all, Henry was devoted to his family. Although Henry endured deep pain and hardships, he carried it privately while doing everything he could in his own way to protect and take care of his family. His love was most often expressed through action and sacrifice rather than words. In addition to his wife, Sara, Henry is survived by his sons, Ryan and Brendan; his stepchildren, Alice and Alex; his parents, Song Il Kim and Su Ja Kim; his sister, Susan Yum; and his beloved grandchild, nieces, and extended family.
Henry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for the values he lived by and the quiet but sacrificial love he gave so freely.
