Susie is preceded in death by her brothers, George Kenneth “Goppy” Millman, Harry T. “Happy” Millman, and sister Judith A. “Judy” Millman Johnson; her life-long friends Gloria D. Watts, Isabelle Johnston, and sister-in-law Eloise A. Streeper.

Susie was the kind of person to never steer you wrong. She was a straight shooter, always there, never turning anyone away who needed support—no matter what, a rare gem in the world of today She was the most loving and kind person who had the life-long types of friendships we all should strive for. She always loved playing cards with the ladies and spending long weekends at the shore in Mystic Island, NJ with two of her most treasured friends, Gloria and Isabelle. She enjoyed playing on her iPad, doing crossword puzzles, and more recently playing, singing to, and holding her beautiful granddaughter.
Susie worked at the University of Pennsylvania (formally known as Penn-Carey Law School) for over 45 years as an assistant to the dean of students, as well as an assistant to the dean of financial affairs. She loved working with her best friends, Gloria and Isabelle, as well as Peggy, Silvana, and Julie, who were dear colleagues to her.
Susie did not want a memorial service and asked only that everyone remember to be kind and do their best for others. She always said, “If you have a bad day, do something nice for someone else.”
Rest in peace Momma D, you have always been one hell of a lady and another one of life’s treasures. We love you.
