Helen Arlene Freese, a beacon of love and adventure, passed away on the 20th of February 2025, in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Born on the 4th of September 1940, in Joppa, Maryland, Helen's life was a testament to her faith-filled spirit and the joy she found in the world around her.
Helen was predeceased by her beloved mother, Mary Elizabeth Bish and her devoted husband, Lloyd I. Freese, Sr., as well as her cherished daughter-in-law, Diana (Martin) Bish. Her legacy continues through her loving family, including her sons, Frederick "Will" Bish and Lloyd I. Freese, Jr. and his wife, Jessica (Filipek) Freese; and her daughter, Waynetta "Arlene" (Bish) Dougherty, and her husband, George Dougherty, Sr., her adored grandchildren, Matthew, George, Jr., Kaitlyn Dougherty, and Lloyd I. Freese, III, and her treasured great-grandchild, Nolan Steven Dougherty.
Helen's career as a receptionist at Lawrence Park Visual Sound showcased her exceptional people skills, offering a warm welcome and a bright smile to everyone she met. Her involvement with various associations over the years spoke volumes about her commitment to community and her desire to make a positive impact on those around her.
Those who knew Helen would describe her as the embodiment of adventurousness, always eager to explore new horizons and experiences. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, February 27th, 2025 from 11:30-12:30pm in Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 12:30pm. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall.
