Gregory Richard Lukens

Gregory Richard Lukens, known to friends and family as Greg, passed away on April 8, 2025, in Broomall, PA, at the age of 53. Born on April 15, 1971, in Philadelphia, PA, Greg’s vibrant spirit, warmth, and boundless energy touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Greg, a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara and Drexel University, dedicated 30 years of his life to his career as an insurance adjustor with State Farm. His hard work was only matched by his passion for life, which included boating, spending time at the beach, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Giants and the Phillies. Greg also brought his competitive spirit to the softball field, participating in a local league.

He is survived by his mother, Sandy (nee Piscitelli) Lukens, and his beloved partner of four years, Beth Kennedy. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lukens.

Those who knew Greg will remember him as a loving, thoughtful, and kind individual. His hardheadedness was matched by a generous spirit and an ability to make those around him feel valued and cared for. Greg's presence was a source of comfort and joy to many, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing on Wednesday, April 16th, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. A second viewing will be held on Thursday, April 17th, from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008, followed by his funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
