Giovanna “Anna Marie” Marrollo
Of Cape May, NJ, formerly of Broomall, PA
Passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Anna Marie was the beloved daughter of Luigi and Marianicola Marrollo, devoted sister of Gina (Gerald) DiCicco, and cherished aunt of Robert and Christian DiCicco. She was the loving fiancée of Raymond Adams, with whom she shared immense love and joy. She is also survived by her dear aunts and uncle, Guiseppina Pietropaolo, Joseph, and Rosa Pietropaolo, and was predeceased by her uncle, Giovanni Pietropaolo. Anna Marie will be deeply missed by her cousins, Joanne Truax, Paul Pietropaolo, Rose Flores, Joseph Pietropaolo, and many other loving relatives and friends in both the United States and Abruzzo, Italy.
Anna Marie was a proud graduate of St. Anastasia Grade School, Cardinal O’Hara High School, and Drexel University, where she earned her degree in accounting. She went on to have a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Anna Marie had a passion for giving back to her community. She served on the Board of Directors for Women's Empowerment and Voice and was the Past Board Treasurer for Soroptimist International of Cape May County, working tirelessly to support and uplift women in her community.
Beyond her career and volunteer work, Anna Marie's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, fiancé, and friends. She was an adventurous traveler, and she had a true talent and passion for cooking and entertaining in her home, where her warmth and generosity were always on full display. Her radiant smile and kind spirit had a way of bringing light into any room. Intelligent, compassionate, and a natural problem-solver, Anna Marie touched the lives of so many.
She will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her brilliant mind, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her. Her love, light, and legacy will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Anna Marie’s life at her Funeral Mass on Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, prior to Mass at the church.
Interment will be held privately.
