Gerald D. “Jerry” Williams, Sr.

Gerald D. “Jerry” Williams, Sr., 75, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

Born July 1, 1947, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Walter G. and Jean (nee Glinski) Williams.

Jerry was a devoted husband who always looked after his family and friends. He owned and operated an automotive and towing service business in Upper Darby for many years. He took pride in being a supportive and proud father and grandfather.

Jerry is survived by his devoted, loving wife of 54 years, Jane M. Williams (nee Ketler); his children, Gerald D. Williams, Jr. (Jennifer), Joseph M. Williams, Sr. (Kathleen), and Michael D. Williams (Marie); three beautiful grandchildren, Joseph Williams, Jr., Dana K. Williams, and Madelyn J. Williams; brother Walter Williams and sister Lorraine Campbell.

Jerry was predeceased by his brother Ronald Williams, brother-in-law William Campbell and sister-in-law Janet Williams.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 25, 2023, for visitation from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., followed by a prayer at the Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
