With deep sorrow and lasting love, we announce the passing of George L. Fender, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather, who passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 74.
George lived a life defined by love, integrity, and quiet strength. He was the cornerstone of his family, a man whose presence brought comfort, guidance, and joy. As a husband, he shared a bond rooted in unwavering commitment and deep affection. As a father, he led with patience, wisdom, and encouragement, always putting his family first. As a grandfather, he found immense happiness in the laughter and curiosity of his grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent together and creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Born on March 25, 1951, in Philadelphia, George grew to become a man admired for his kindness, resilience, and generous spirit. Whether through his work, friendships, or everyday interactions, he touched countless lives with his warmth and sincerity. He believed in the importance of family, hard work, and treating others with respect.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne of 52 years; his children, Christopher (Michele), Michael (Lauren), Matthew (the late Erin) and Daniel (Sarah); and his cherished grandchildren, Luke, Charlotte, Olivia, Ryan, Nathaniel and Benjamin, who will carry his legacy forward. He is also survived by his brother Ron, all of whom will miss him deeply.
Though he is no longer with us, his love remains woven into the fabric of our lives. His lessons, his laughter, and his unwavering support will continue to guide and inspire all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, March 31st from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at SS. Philip and James Church in Exton, PA. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Fox Cancer Center, https://www.foxchase.org/giving/ways-give/donate-now, honoring George’s generous and compassionate spirit.
Forever in our hearts, always in our memories, and deeply missed.
