He was a Lettered graduate in Bowling from Bartram High School in the January class of 1959. He went on to attend classes at Temple University.

A member of New Hope Church in Broomall (formerly Belmont Baptist) since 2004, he was a Moderator for the church, overseeing many operations and committees of the day-to-day operations of the church. He picked up his bowling ball again after his high school days had long passed and played for the Southwestern United Presbyterian Church and Belmont Baptist teams that played at Sharon Hill Lanes and then Marple Lanes, until the league folded.

He enjoyed his retirement time working with HO model railroads, specializing in the mid 1800’s (Civil War time frame), and of course he enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies.

He married his wife in 1964, the former Catherine (Kay) Uhrmann, he is survived by his sons Glen D. (and Jennifer) Kimmel, of Massachusetts, and Jeffrey T.
