Gabrielle “Gaby” M. Travaglini (nee Grassi) of Springfield, PA passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2020 at the age of 82. Gaby is the daughter of the late Victor and Roslyn Grassi.
Gaby is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 60 years, Philip W. Travaglini, her loving daughter, Lisa (Robert) Kaplan and her cherished granddaughters Marisa and Sarina. Predeceased by her sister, Patricia Pilla, Gaby is also survived by her nieces and many dear friends that have become her extended family.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Gaby was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School. An Executive Assistant for Bell of Pennsylvania, Gaby left that position upon the birth of her daughter to assume the noble responsibility of investing her life into raising her daughter and maintaining an impeccable home for her family. Gaby’s devotion to her family continued with her granddaughters – the loves of her life. She bestowed upon them her loving attention and took great pride in their accomplishments. For all of this, she will be remembered for her love of family, outstanding talent for cooking, the kind and gentle manner in which she treated others, and for being the light in every room she entered. Today and every day we celebrate this once in a lifetime person.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 10-10:45 A.M. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church located at 821 W.
