Francis W. Kramer (Fran, Frank), age 87 years, of Philadelphia PA, formerly of Yeadon, PA, passed away on April 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and family. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn R. (nee Orr) Kramer, with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a commitment that reflected his lifelong sense of duty. He went on to build a successful career as an electrician, including tenures with the Penn Wood School District and as electrical inspector for Yeadon Borough.
Known to many simply as “Coach,” Frank devoted more than a quarter of a century to coaching. He coached Little League Baseball, high school football and junior high baseball. He was immensely proud of the young people he mentored and cherished the moments when he would run into former players and reminisce. So many spoke of the lasting, positive impact he had on their lives, a testament to his patience, encouragement, and genuine care for others.
Frank was a loving and remarkably supportive father to Karen Murray (James Murray), Jacquelynn Seely (Timothy Seely), Frances Angelucci (Michael Angelucci), and Michael Kramer. He took immense pride in his role as “PopPop,” cherishing his grandchildren Marissa Angelucci, Kyle Murray, Sarah Murray, and Samantha Murray (Josh Civatte). His joy only grew with the arrival of his great-grandchildren, Mason Angelucci-Putala, Nova Civatte, Theo Civatte, and Olive Civatte.
An avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies, Frank rarely missed a game and shared his enthusiasm for his favorite teams with family and friends. He was incredibly social, always eager to meet new people, share a story, or strike up a conversation. He loved to travel, cherished time with his beautiful wife, his family and his many friends, and especially enjoyed playing pinochle and traveling with his Seniors Group.
He was predeceased by his brother, August Kramer (Nancy Pesontine), and his sister, Marianne Shields (John Shields).

Frank will be remembered for his deep love of family, his generous spirit, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness, mentoring, and friendship. His legacy lives on in the generations that follow and in the memories he created with all who knew him.
