Francis J. Carlin

Francis "Frank" "Buddy" Joseph Carlin, formerly of Schuylkill section of Philadelphia, passed away on January 10, 2022 at the age of 86.  Buddy was an avid Philly sports team fan and a member of the Schuylkill Irish Society. Class of 1952 graduate from South Catholic High, attended St. Patrick’s School and Parish. Son of the late Francis & Nora (Lawler) Carlin.

Father to Francis (Linda), Judith, David (Kimberly), Deirdre, and Christopher (Megan), as well as 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Brother to Joseph Carlin and the late Eileen Thack and Patricia Dalton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, Friday, January 14th at 10:30am at St. Patrick’s Church at 20th & Spruce in Philadelphia, PA 19103 where mourners may call at 9:30am Friday at the Church prior to the Mass.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers family request contributions be made to Saint Patrick’s Church, 242 S 20th Street, Phila, Pa 19103.
