Frances (Miley) Maguire

Frances (nee Miley) Maguire, age 79, of Newtown Square and formerly from Yeadon, PA passed away on September 3, 2020 surrounded by her children.  Beloved daughter of John and Helen Miley (nee McLaughlin) born in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania.

Fran was predeceased by her beloved husband William J. Maguire, Sr.  Loving mother of William J. Jr., Maureen Stephenson (Michael), Michelle McMaster (Robert), Frances Hickson (Matthew).  Dear grandmother of Jessica Hickson, Morgan Maguire, Joseph McMaster, Andrew Hickson, William J. Maguire III, Marc McMaster, and Molly Stephenson.  Sister of Elizabeth Walsh (the late Andrew), John "Jack" Miley (Cecilia), Kathryn Grigg (Joseph).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Fran was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales Grade School and West Catholic Girls High School.  After 20+ years, Fran retired from banking in 2002.

Fran loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and going to all their sporting events and activities.  Fran enjoyed spending time with her "sorority" girlfriends of 60+ years, enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and friends, family vacations, reading, crocheting, and most of all making her famous soups for her loved ones.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:45 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM,  Friday, September 11, 2020 at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19074.  Interment Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
