Florence F. (Opiela) Hiller

Florence F. (nee Opiela) Hiller, 86, of Malvern, passed away peacefully in her home after a battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022. She was the wife of the late John Thomas Hiller. Sadly, John passed away in 2017.

Born in Philadelphia on July 24, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Stephen J. and Stella J. (nee Daniel) Opiela. She was employed with AMP Inc. as a secretary for over 30 years before retiring in 2011.

Surviving are her two sons, John "Jack" T. Hiller, Jr. of Glenmoore and Dennis M. Hiller and his wife, Mary (nee Andrews) Hiller of Malvern; four grandchildren, Sarah and her husband, Santiago, Jacob and his wife, Emily, Taylor and her husband, Doug and Andrew; two great grandchildren, Evelyn and Jane; sister, Dolores (nee Opiela) Muller and her husband, Gus of Pennsauken, NJ and a brother, John Opiela and his wife, Jean Opiela of Roxborough.

Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Grace Opiela and Roberta Barden and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, John; Florence is predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Karen (nee Beasley) Hiller and four siblings, Eleanor (nee Opiela) Nickerson and her husband, William, Stephen Opiela, Jr., Bertha (nee Opiela) Spahn and her husband, George and Edward Opiela.

Services for Florence are private and at the convenience of the family.
