On January 10, 2025, F. Terrance Fadden of Havertown died in Bryn Mawr, Pa. after a long illness. Terry was 76. He is survived by siblings Sister R. Patricia Fadden, IHM, Eileen Fadden Butler (late Joseph), Tese Fadden Allam (Bob), and devoted sister-in-law, Dee (McCullough) Fadden (late Gerald B. Fadden, Jr.). Terry is also fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends.
Born in Darby, Pa. on February 26, 1948 to parents Ruth Catherine (Hart) Fadden and Gerald Bernard Fadden Sr., Terry attended Sacred Heart School in Manoa, and Bonner High School in Drexel Hill. As a young lad, he was first to offer help to his parents, neighbors, another child, or a good cause. In 1972, Terry earned a BS in Business Administration from Drexel University. He served honorably in the US Marine Corps and the US Army Reserve.
For over 35 years, Terry was a Northeast Regional Sales Representative for leaders in the Trucking Industry. He was skilled at turning around lagging offices, and delivering rapid upticks in market share and earnings. As an Independent Contractor, Terry also did home remodeling, painting and renovations. He took pride in this work, never failing to offer clients, family and friends exceptional results.
Terry was happiest on a golf course (former member: Llanerch Country Club and Penn Oaks Country Club), on a beautiful beach, or with a good dog. He loved being in nature. Only one thing better: being with his older brother Gerry. No family gathering was without hilarious tales from The Boys.
Terry was a devoted son, a loving brother, a generous uncle, and a cherished friend. He took life lightly. He was a protector of all needing help, defender of those in need, and giver of sound advice. With Terry in it, the world was a better place. He will be sorely missed.
At Terry’s request, his services and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Terry's family suggests a donation be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
