Erin Lynn Scott, 50, of Glenmoore, passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2020. Born in San Francisco, California on July 23, 1970, her parents, Dean M. and Darlene (Leischner) Keefe, adopted her on September 18, 1970. Erin grew up in Littleton, Colorado, where she attended Heritage High School, and graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a B.S. in Education.
Erin was a devoted mother and wife. She is survived by her husband, Paul, and her two sons, Nate and Connor. Erin and Paul were married on July 1, 1995, in Denver, Colorado, and were blessed with Nate and Connor on June 12, 2003, and May 10, 2007, respectively. Erin loved her boys more than life itself.
Erin loved the mountains, the ocean, and animals. She enjoyed running, skiing, scuba diving, roller coasters, and scary movies, which she forced her family to watch with her. In recent years, she could often be found in her happy place – hiking in Marsh Creek State Park with her beloved Labradors, Gunner and Kali. She was the rock of her family and will be deeply missed.
A private family viewing will be held on Thursday, December 3rd, with a Memorial Service to be held in Colorado at a later date. The family will welcome friends for an outdoor remembrance between 2:00-4:00 pm on December 3rd, at French Creek Golf Club, 4500 Conestoga Rd., Elverson, PA 19520.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Erin’s name to the ASPCA, www.aspca.org, or the Chester County Food Bank, www.chestercountyfoodbank.org.
