Elizabeth (Wright) Robertson

Elizabeth "Betsy" (nee Wright) Robertson, 78, of Collegeville, passed away peacefully in Manatawny Manor on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 with her husband of 52 years, Frank D. Robertson, by her side. The couple married August 22, 1970.

Born in Philadelphia on March 27, 1944, a daughter of the late Albert Edward and Eleanor Grove (nee Hoffecker) Wright. She graduated from Lansdowne Aldan High School and then took secretarial courses. She was employed with PECO for 17 years doing clerical work in the engineer department. She retired in 2006. 

Betsy was a faithful member of Lower Providence Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School for 22 years and was a Deacon for six years. Betsy also volunteered at Grace's Kitchen in Norristown. She was a past Troop Leader over two den's for the Cub Scouts and an assistant for the Brownie's. Betsy was also a past Executive Secretary for the PTA. 

In addition to her husband, Frank; Betsy is survived by her three children, Margaret Louise (nee Robertson) Heffelfinger and her husband, Richard Thomas, David Kenneth Robertson and his wife, Jennifer Barrett and Michael Scott Robertson and his wife, Jayme Carrozza and two grandchildren, Tyler David Robertson and Trevor Bernard Robertson.

Betsy is predeceased by her brother, Albert Edward Wright, Jr.

A Celebration of Betsy's Life will be on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at 11am in Lower Providence Presbyterian, 3050 Ridge Pike, Norristown, PA 19403. Family and friends are invited to gather in the church on Saturday from 10am to 11am.
