Elizabeth Regina (Costello) Gallagher

Elizabeth Regina "BettyJean" Gallagher (nee Costello) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 7, 2022.  BettyJean is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, William H. Gallagher, children William P. (Shannon), Sheila (Jim) Manion, Shannan (John) Friel, and Christopher Gallagher; grandchildren Billy (Amanda), Seamus (Jess), Brooke (Nick), Jimmy, Sean, Ryan, Danny, Liam, Owen, Christopher, Rory, Shay and Nora.  Also "mom-mom" to Alison, Caitlyn and Tommy; great grandmother to Nolan, Billy, Tommy, Nellie, Seamus and Nina.  Pre-deceased by her sister, Margaret Latch and granddaughters Briana and Amber.  Also survived by her brother William (Ellen) Costello; in laws Ray Latch, Kass McPoyle, Nancy Terifay (Sonny) and BettyJane Gallagher; cousins Jeanne Fagely and Barbara McGonigle (Eddie) and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at St. Gabriel Church, 29th & Dickinson Sts., Philadelphia, PA 19146.  Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:15 AM Tuesday morning at the church prior to mass. 

Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions to Jamie McPoyle, 1211 Oak Street, Connellsville PA 15425.  Jamie lost his leg as a result of this rare cancer.  Funds will go towards a prosthetic.
