The family is having the public celebration for Dorothy on October 3 as originally planned, at Saint Philip and James Church in Exton, PA. starting at 10 am.  Immediately following, we'll have a special prayer service at the Grotto, then everyone is invited to attend a luncheon at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern, PA.

Dorothy Marie Tuccio
Age 65, died peacefully surrounded by her husband and children on May 3rd, 2020 at their home in Exton, PA after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dorothy was born on October 1st, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Marple Newtown High School in 1972. Dorothy was the founder and owner of a successful permit expediting company called Permex, LLC, which she started in 1999. In 1989, Dorothy was happily married to Albert Tuccio who was her partner in life for over 33 years at the time of her death.

Dorothy is survived by her husband and their 4 children; Danielle, Jackie, Stephanie,Michael, and grandson, Luca.  

Dorothy dedicated her life to her family and was an amazing friend to many. She loved exercising and being active, specifically on the tennis court, where she was a fierce competitor. She enjoyed time at their shore house in Avalon, NJ, where many memories with family and friends were made. Dorothy had a bright, energetic personality with an infectious laugh. She touched so many lives with her generosity, strength and passion.

In lieu of flowers, the family will set up contributions that can be made to St. Phillip and James, as the family intends on using the contributions to make improvements at the grotto, which Dorothy would visit often to pray to the Blessed Mother.
