Dante Joseph Lombardi

Dante Joseph Lombardi (July 19, 1927 – October 8, 2023)

Dante Joseph Lombardi, of Philadelphia, passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 96. was a dedicated educator and principal for more than 30 years.  He was a lifelong learner and an enthusiastic reader, not only of professional material, but also of literature and poetry.

He enjoyed nature, hiking, mountain climbing, biking, skiing and life itself.  His extensive travels frequently included trips to the West as he particularly loved Native American art and culture.

He is survived by his loving wife Susan and many relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass on Monday October 16th at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul, 1723 Race Street, Philadelphia,PA 19103.  Friends may call 10-10:45 AM at the Cathedral.  

Interment will be Thursday October 19th at 9:00 AM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland, Newtown, PA 18940.
