Christopher Raphael Hidalgo, 62, passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of April 27, 2026, after succumbing to a battle with a terminal illness.
Christopher was a husband, father, and son. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anita; his children, Victoria, Erik, Alessandra, and Rocco; his mother, MarySue (92); his brother, Perry; and his two sisters, Peggy and Laurie. He is now reunited with his late father, Raphael Hidalgo.
Christopher dedicated many decades of his life working as a lineman with Verizon, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft.
He had a deep appreciation for life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. He found joy in deep sea fishing, embracing the adventure of the open water. The Bahamas held a special place in his heart, where he created lasting memories with those he loved. A true lover of summertime, Christopher spent as much time outdoors as possible, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the beauty of nature.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
