Christina Coleman Obituary

Christina Marion Coleman, known to her friends and family as Chris, her grandsons as Gammies, and her nieces and nephews as Aunt Kiki, passed away peacefully on the first day of the New Year, 2026. Born on July 28, 1956, in Philadelphia, PA, Chris was a true Philadelphian and proud of her Italian heritage. Chris lived loudly and loved fiercely - bold, outspoken, and unapologetically herself.

Chris was the wife of Steve Coleman and a devoted mother to her daughter, Ariana Taylor. She was a cherished grandmother to her grandsons, Louis and Vincent Taylor, and was deeply appreciated by her son-in-law, Bryan Taylor. Her siblings, Mark Vitali, Michael (Donna) Vitali, Louis (Eileen) Vitali, Vince (Renata) Vitali, and Adriana (Darryl) Hurd, will remember her as the sister who always led with her heart, while her many nieces and nephews will recall her spirited nature and passionate advice.

Throughout her career as an administrative assistant, Chris was the cornerstone of the office, supporting senior leadership with unmatched professionalism and care. Her retirement marked the close of a chapter defined by dedication and expertise.

Chris’s interests were many, but above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. A devoted Philadelphia sports fan, she rooted for every Philly team, but most of all cheered for the Eagles, following them with the same intensity and loyalty she showed to those she loved. Whether enjoying a quiet evening at home or a lively family gathering, Chris was at her happiest surrounded by her loved ones. She was a vibrant woman who made her family and friends feel loved, valued, and important, and those feelings will linger long after her passing.

As we say goodbye to Christina Marion Coleman, we celebrate the legacy of love, generosity, and strength she leaves behind. Her spirit and memory will be cherished forever. Chris’s life was a testament to the beauty of a soul that lived for her family, and her story will be told with love by those who were fortunate enough to be a part of it.
