Cesar J. Solda

Cesar J. Solda, age 94, of Chester Springs, PA, passed away on the autumnal equinox,  September 22, 2025 - in Paoli, PA. Born in the Lorraine region of France, 1931, Cesar lived through the German occupation of World War II and was later adopted by a devoted American soldier, Joseph Bonifazio - leaving his family, including four brothers and one sister - to start a new life N.Y.C.  After serving for the U.S. Army in the Korean War, he married and started his own family in Long Island, N.Y. He is survived by his loving children, Marc (Patricia), Paul (Polina), and Peter (Cindi), as well as his cherished grandchildren, Alex, Christopher, and Serge. Cesar was widowed in 2016 following the death of his beloved wife of 54 years, Marcia.

Funeral services will be held this Saturday, 9/27, 2 PM at Daylesford Abbey, Paoli, PA.
