Cecelia Loretta Flynn

Cecelia L. Flynn, 82, of Grant Valkaria, Florida, formerly of Brandywine Township, PA, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026. Born on April 6, 1943, in Philadelphia PA.  Cecelia was the beloved daughter of the late Emily L. Flynn (née D’Imperio) and Thomas P. Flynn (deceased WWII, March of 1945) and the late Margaret M. Flynn.  She is survived by her sister, Patricia Callaghan, nephews, A. Daniel Callaghan, (Laura) of Warwick New York, and Brain P. Callaghan  (Crista) of Somers, Connecticut and their children.

A proud academic and lifelong learner, Cecelia graduated from the Philadelphia College of Textiles & Sciences in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree, later earning two Master’s Degrees from Temple University. Her career reflected her dedication and drive—she taught Fashion Merchandising at Pierce Junior College in Philadelphia in the early 80's, worked as an executive recruiter for Spectrum Consultants as well as Day & Zimmerman, before founding her own successful Executive Recruiting Firm, Accutech.  

Known for her hardworking spirit and feisty personality, Cecelia approached life with energy and independence. She adored her dogs, Perry and Jessie, found joy in beautifying  her homes, and especially loved doting on family including her nephews and their children, who brought her great happiness.  

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA. Prayers will be held at 1:00 PM, followed by interment at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. Services will be live streamed here >>> Cecelia Loretta Flynn
