Catherine D'Imperio Obituary

Catherine G. D’Imperio of South Philadelphia and Williamstown, NJ passed away, peacefully, on January 31, 2024. She is the daughter of the late Catherine Hackett Reilly and John Reilly. Catherine was the wife of the late Ed D’Imperio. She is survived by her children: Lynn Lubbe (David), Mark D'Imperio (Nancy), Karen DiDomenico (Dennis), Terri Nelson (Ron), Dan D'Imperio (MaryLouise), her grandchildren: Alex and Paige Nelson, Christopher and Gregory DiDomenico, Matthew and Marisa D'Imperio, Daniel and Dillon D'Imperio. Also survived by her cousin, Kay Kelly and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jane Reilly Herpen and the late Margaret Reilly Reynolds.

Catherine graduated from J. W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School in 1953 and The University of Pennsylvania in 1991. She was employed for 20 years by Insurance Company of North America helping to develop their first claim-related system.

Catherine and Ed retired to Avalon, NJ in 1995. After her husband’s death in 2014 she relocated to Holiday City in Williamstown, NJ. While there, Catherine volunteered with Kids Alley, helping inner-city children and their families. Catherine loved playing Mahjong with her friends in Holiday City.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Monday, February 5, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at St. Bernadette Church at 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, where friends may call from 10:00 A.M. Monday at the church. Interment will be at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa.
