Carolyn "Carol" Jane (nee Sterling) Dinkelacker, 90, of West Chester, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2022. She was the wife of Karl Erwin Dinkelacker. The couple have been married 70 years. They married in Grace Lutheran Church, Broomall on October 20th, 1951; the first wedding in the church where she was a charter member of the church.
Born in Highland Park, Delaware Co. on November 23, 1931, she was a daughter of the late J. Frank and Edith A. (nee Miller) Sterling.
Carol was an avid gardener who took pride in cultivating beautiful flowers and tending to her garden at her home. She also enjoyed sewing, painting ceramics and making crafts with her husband. Together they would participate in local craft shows. She volunteered at her church and one of her most rewarding acts was cooking for the homeless. She and other church members would gather in the church kitchen on a regular basis to prepare these meals. Always giving to others.
