Carlos Leonidas Ordonez

Carlos Ordonez, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 21,2021 at the age of 75. Born on February 18, 1946 in Girón, El Azuay, Ecuador to the late Jorge Ordonez and the late Sarvelia Vallejo. In his early years, he lived in Girón, then he moved to Machala, El Oro; where he met Piedad Vega and married her in 19740. In 1998, he moved to the United States and resided in Pennsylvania from that point on. He was a hard worker, loving person, always concerned about others, reserved, humble and grateful. He never complained, even in his illness. He was always positive and optimistic. He always tried not to inconvenience anyone, even when it was necessary.
Beloved husband of Piedad Vega. Loving father of Carlos, Katty , Ivan and Iliana Ordonez Vega. Father in Law of Jessica Peña, Nancy Andrade and Max Guillen. Loving grandfather of Carlos Ordonez, David Ordonez, Jeremy Ordonez, M. Belén Ordonez, Jewel Feijoo, Justin Feijoo, Brandon Ordonez, Aaliah Guillen, Ashlee Guillen and Emiliano Guillen. Loving brother of Martha Ordonez, and Arturo Ordonez. Predeceased by his siblings, Isabel Ordonez, Julia Ordonez, and Gerardo Ordonez.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.​ His wife, sons and daughters, and other family members are profoundly grateful to those who offer support and prayers during this difficult time.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation Service that will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008. Followed by the Funeral Service from 11:30 to 12:30PM. Interment at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery. The family requests that MASKS BE WORN AT ALL TIMES inside of the funeral home.
