Barbara Ann (Mayor) Zubaly

Barbara Ann Zubaly died peacefully and went to be with the Lord Jesus on Sunday June 14th, 2026. She battled health issues during the last few years of her life with faith in God and daily determination.

Barbara grew up in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Richard N. and Ula C. Mayor. She went to Ursinus College and Bryn Mawr College where she graduated with a master’s degree in social sciences. During college she married John J. (Jack) Zubaly III from North Wales Pa. who at 78 pre-deceased her. He was a loving husband and father.

She was a Christian, a committed and prayerful follower of Jesus Christ.

In the 70’s she attended and became secretary for Bethlehem Methodist Church, Thornton Pa. and enjoyed activities with her church family. In the 90’s she attended Victory Center, Paoli Pa. and New Horizons Fellowship, Media Pa., a member to this day. Other interests she had were visiting women inmates at Chester County Prison, being a member of Chester County Women’s Aglow and supporting Israel and the Jewish people.

She took great pleasure in counseling people using her education and experience combined with wisdom from the Bible, through which she made many long-term friends.

She was a wonderful wife and mother, enjoyed gardening, camping, family BBQ’s, Bible studies, Summers at the Jersey shore and especially watching and rooting for the Phillies.

She’s loved and survived by her 3 sons, Will, Joe and John, daughters-in- law Kate and Debbie, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Barbara will be held on Saturday June 27, 2026, at Logan Funeral Home, 698 E. Lincoln Hwy. in Exton Pa. 19341. Visitation for family and friends will be at 9:30, Service at 10:15, and following, all are invited to the Internment at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer Pa.
